Dive into the adventure of Belize…
There are so many wonderful and exciting adventures to enjoy during your stay at Casa Rana. The difficulty will be which ones ‘not to do’.
We have affiliated ourselves with whom we believe are the most knowledgeable, safest, and the best providers of services for you to have fun-filled and action packed days. You can either contact the following companies, or we can do it for you.
For your snorkeling or diving needs we recommend contacting Elbert Greer at www.scubalessonsbelize.com Elbert owns this company and has lived on the island for the past 24 years. He is a PADI IDC staff instructor with more than 4,000 dives. If you want, he can get you PDAI certified, arrange trips to the famous Blue Hole, or dive the hundreds of places inside or outside the reef. One particularly special trip is the night snorkeling trip at Hol Chan Marine Reserve. There you will see more different sea creatures than you can count.
For the most amazing day trips, including visiting the Mayan ruins, zip lining, cave tubing, beach BBQs, and more, we recommend Suya Tours. For the past 20 years they have been guiding people on these fabulous trips. The owners are wonderful people, they are safety conscious, and their equipment is some of the best on the island. You will definitely enjoy your time with them.
For the last 15 years Go Fish Belize has been the premier company on Ambergris Caye for the best fishing guides and boats available. Diana and I have personally fished with one of the main guides in tournaments and on other fishing excursions. Check out their website for all the great trips: www.gofishbelize.com
Imagine having a private massage on our second floor veranda by one of the most incredible masseuses in Central America. Juanita has been doing massages for the last 20 years and Diana and I regularly get 1 1/2 hour massages. She is truly exceptional. This is an experience you will truly love!
If you fantasize a wedding by the Caribbean Sea there is no better place to do it than at Casa Rana. The home is large enough to easily accommodate 50+ people for a reception. There are some excellent wedding planners on the island who can help you make your dream wedding become a reality. On 10-10-2010 Diana and I were married on our front porch, and it was great!
After a long day of traveling the last thing you need to do is spend time shopping in 5 or 6 small stores to get the food and drink items you want for your vacation. By ordering in advance you can get off the plane, or water taxi, and have everything put away and waiting for you. Carole buys only the best and freshest items. She gets a wholesale discount so the prices to you are approximately the same, or less, than if you had shopped yourself. Please contact her at www.belizegrocery.com. You will be glad you did.
